Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritize proposed changes across IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
Lead change review meetings to evaluate proposed changes, assess potential impacts, and secure necessary approvals.
Maintain meticulous change records encompassing change requests, approvals, implementation plans, and post-implementation reviews.
Coordinate and communicate change schedules effectively, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed about upcoming changes and their implications.
Monitor the execution of approved changes, promptly addressing any issues or deviations from the planned implementation.
Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the success of changes, derive lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage a comprehensive change log and documentation repository, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Provide guidance and assistance to IT teams and stakeholders on change management processes, procedures, and best practices.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements relevant to IT change management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; certifications like ITIL are advantageous.
Demonstrated expertise in IT change management, including a robust grasp of change management principles, processes, and methodologies.
Strong analytical skills, enabling the assessment and prioritization of change requests based on their potential impact and risk.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, facilitating effective engagement and influence with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Detail-oriented mindset, adept at maintaining precise and comprehensive documentation of change activities and outcomes.
Proficiency in utilizing ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) for managing change management processes and workflows.
Capability to thrive in both independent and collaborative environments, adeptly managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Familiarity with IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT) and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) pertaining to change management.
Strong problem-solving aptitude, enabling the anticipation and mitigation of potential risks and issues associated with IT changes.
