The purpose of the IT Business Analyst role is to analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, such as production and inventory control systems, financial tracking systems, marketing and human resources systems. Incumbents in this role represent the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the technology developments. This role may be assigned to interface with and support one or more client organizations such as Finance, HR, Operations & Supply Chain, Procurement, Commercial/Sales/Marketing, Corporate Development, Legal, IT, Research & Development/Science & Technology, and other internal business partners and regional locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes and enhance productivity.
  • Manage and administer SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and permissions, ensuring optimal collaboration and document management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective automation solutions and reports.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on the usage of automation tools, analytics platforms, and SharePoint.
  • Performs other administrative, functional, and technical tasks as needed.
  • And other duties as assigned to safely perform.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of two (2) years performing relevant work experience in IT business processes and systems analysis.
  • Solid understanding of business functional areas, business management issues and data analysis.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing automation solutions using Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow).
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint administration, configuration, and customization.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Capacity to analyze and resolve issues efficiently, often under pressure. This may involve diagnosing technical problems, researching solutions, and implementing fixes.
  • Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tickets simultaneously. This includes understanding SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and adhering to them.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to read, modify, and create workflow automation logic.
  • Strong desire to proactively search for opportunities to automate manual processes and create innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership, initiative and results-orientation.
  • Meets assignment deadlines through effective organization skills, priority and time management skills.
  • Able to drive projects from conception to implementation with exceptional follow-through and focus on completed staff work.

Education, Certifications & Licenses

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field of study from an accredited college/university.
