Roles And Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their goals, objectives, and operational processes.
- Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements and user stories.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather and validate requirements.
- Solution Design and Documentation:
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications and technical documentation.
- Create diagrams, flowcharts, and process maps to illustrate current and future state workflows.
- Work with architects and developers to design and validate IT solutions that align with business needs.
- Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between business users and IT teams to facilitate effective communication and understanding.
- Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize requirements and resolve conflicts.
- Quality Assurance and Testing Support:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria to validate IT solutions.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback from stakeholders.
- Ensure that delivered solutions meet functional requirements and user expectations.
- Process Improvement and Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within business operations.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to systems, workflows, and procedures.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions to refine future projects.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to end-users on new or updated systems and processes.
- Create user guides, training materials, and documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Address user inquiries and support requests related to IT applications and systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role in IT projects and systems development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with requirements management tools and techniques (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
