Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance to end-users by resolving hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting and problem-solving
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals
Install, upgrade, and configure software applications and operating systems
Assist with network setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and WAN connectivity
Implement and manage data backup procedures to ensure data security and recovery
Create, modify, and delete user accounts, manage access permissions, and enforce security protocols
Implement and maintain basic cybersecurity measures, such as antivirus software, firewalls, and access control
Keep accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, and support requests
Train employees on the use of IT systems and tools, as well as best practices for cybersecurity
Respond to IT-related queries and issues, escalating more complex problems to higher-level IT staff as needed
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to suggest improvements and enhancements
Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum requirement, although an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
Proficiency in computer hardware, operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS), and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
Understanding of networking principles, protocols, and troubleshooting
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues logically and efficiently
Good communication and interpersonal skills to assist end-users effectively
Strong organizational skills to manage IT assets and documentation
Familiarity with basic cybersecurity concepts and best practices
Ability to collaborate with other IT professionals and departments within the organization
Relevant certifications like CompTIA A+ or Network+ may be an advantage
IT Associates should be open to learning new technologies and adapting to changing IT environments

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $65,000 - $70,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
