IT Asset Management/Service Delivery Specialist

I have a long term opportunity for an IT Operations Asset Manager to join the team for one of our top tier clients in East Hartford, CT.

This is a hybrid role, onsite 3 days, 2 days remote.

Rate: $55-$65/hr W2 or Corp

IT Operations Asset Management

Responsibilities:

• Plan, monitor, and record software assets for the organization
• Develop and promote an effective asset management strategy, policy and best practices within the organization
• Work with business stakeholders to manage the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of the IT asset repositories (CMDB or similar)
• Perform verification and auditing of the CMDB content
• Make sure the content of the asset management database is accurate
• Maintain an accurate inventory of software assets including version control, licensing details and usage statistics
• Establish and maintain documentation of procedures, processes, and reports concerning asset and configuration management
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies related to asset management.
• Perform research on industry best practice and incorporate it with organizational practices

Qualifications

• Strong background in hardware and software asset management (licensing, procurement, IT Operations, etc)
• Strong understanding of asset management principles and best practices.
• Experience with ITIL, ITSM or ITOM tools and concepts would be a plus
• Ability to analyze data and provide insights
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Bachelors degree or similar
