Example of Duties
Manages software asset management for select enterprise software by assigning new users to the software dashboards, tracking users in the software asset management system, auditing information for correctness, removing users as needed, and ensuring accuracy of billing for software being used
Maintains appropriate software levels for select enterprise software and manages purchase requests for renewals and additional license requests as needed
Anticipates the impact that new or modified software will have on existing standards and systems.
Provides technical assistance on agency issues, services, program(s), and/or computer hardware and software, etc.
Determines the resources needed to plan and implement IT applications. Discusses requirements with end users and provides software suggestions and recommendations to users to help them understand potential limitations and challenges.

Monitors and evaluates operations, programs, processes and/or practices for quality and effectiveness; makes recommendations for improvement.
Acts as a resource to provide information or determine the most effective way of meeting the needs of management, staff, clients or customers.
