Job Title: IT acquisition consultant

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT acquisition strategies to meet the company's technology needs efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select vendors and suppliers of IT hardware, software, and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with IT vendors and service providers.
  • Manage vendor relationships and monitor performance to ensure compliance with contract terms and company standards.
  • Collaborate with IT, finance, and other departments to understand and fulfill their technology requirements.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about new products, services, and industry trends.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT acquisitions, contracts, and supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in IT procurement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in IT procurement or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT products, services, and market trends.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
