Job Description

The Internal Resource Pool (IRP) Chaplain is responsible for the delivery of pastoral care to patients, their loved ones, and as appropriate, staff in The James Cancer Hospital. S/he will have responsibility to ensure that religious and spiritual needs of patients and their loved ones are met in areas to which s/he is assigned. The IRP Chaplain will report to the Manager in the Department of Pastoral Care.

Required Qualifications

  • Position requires a college degree, a master's level theological degree or equivalent
  • Clinical training in chaplaincy (at least one unit of ACPE Clinical Pastoral Education)
  • Ordination or members in good standing for ministry by a recognized religious group
