The IQC Lead Technician maintains high quality standards by inspecting the raw materials prior to them being used on the line, as well as ensuring the OQC Technicians on shift are performing responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Confirms materials received meet established quality standards from our suppliers.
Rejecting products that fail to meet established quality standards.
Create NCRs for the nonconforming materials.
Confirm technician attendance for assigned line.
Block failed material until resampling is completed.
Documents inspection results for material release.
Help other technicians during breaktimes and flexibility to cover other work areas.
Ability to follow standardized work and not deviate from SOP and work instructions.
Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS.
Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing process.
Basic computer skills.
Able to cope with pressure and be a team player.
Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed.
Must be detail oriented and able to analyze information on computer monitor for 12 hours.
PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
Able to lift 50 pounds without restriction.
Able to stand and be on your feet for up to 12 hours.
