Qualifications And Skills
- A Master's degree in biology or related disciplines, or a Bachelor's degree with 2 additional years of experience.
- Experience in cell culture, either in an academic or industry setting, is required.
- Proficient in iPSC handling, with a strong interest, knowledge, and experience in neuroscience or rare disease research.
- Excellent analytical thinking skills with the ability to articulate and synthesize complex issues effectively.
- Demonstrated creativity, curiosity, and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven track record of collaboration and networking across different functions and with internal and external partners.
- Good organizational skills, adhering to standard operating procedures with attention to detail.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of in vitro differentiation protocols to produce iPSC-derived cell types, particularly iPSC-derived neurons.
- Support the development of disease phenotype-specific molecular and functional assays in cell types differentiated from human pluripotent stem cells.
- Collaborate with the team to conduct gene editing in iPSC-derived cells.
- Assist in the day-to-day maintenance of cell cultures of various types.
