Act as liaison between the company and the public on financial matters
Maintain and develop a positive public image for the organization
Create and manage a strong reputation with clear communications between internal and external parties
Manage equity research and investor relationships
Oversee and manage quarterly and annual shareholder reports
Provide insight on market activity and present to the leadership team
Partner with internal stakeholders to communicate the company strategy and market perception
Review, collect, and present any feedback to the company on investor perceptions and opinions
Develop effective communication, including the facilitation of financial analysis meetings, answering any questions that may arise, and arranging press coverage
Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance on regulatory matters
Perform administrative duties to support IR effort, including mailings, database maintenance, quarterly filings, proxy & annual reports, and analyses as needed
Participate in creating investment messages in collaboration with management and other internal groups
Research and provide appropriate updates in response to special requests from management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
At least five years of relevant business experience required
Ability to convert complex financial information into understandable text
Familiar with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods
Deep knowledge and understanding of capital markets
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter with excellent leadership and follow-through skills
