Investment Strategist, Venture Capital

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Investment Strategist to join our venture capital team on a full-time basis. The Investment Strategist will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm's investment strategy, identifying new investment opportunities, and providing strategic guidance to portfolio companies. Roles And Responsibilities

• Investment Strategy Development:
• Develop and refine the firm's investment strategy based on market trends, industry dynamics, and emerging technologies.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and portfolio assessments to identify sector-specific investment opportunities and strategic themes.
• Collaborate with senior management and investment teams to articulate investment thesis, target sectors, and strategic priorities.
• Deal Sourcing and Evaluation:
• Lead and manage the process of sourcing, screening, and evaluating potential investment opportunities.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence, financial analysis, and valuation assessments to assess investment risks and opportunities.
• Prepare investment memos, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and investment committees.
• Portfolio Management and Value Creation:
• Monitor and evaluate portfolio company performance, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and strategic milestones.
• Provide strategic guidance and operational support to portfolio companies to drive growth initiatives, optimize operations, and enhance market positioning.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews, performance analysis, and risk assessments to inform investment decisions and portfolio strategy adjustments.
• Investor Relations and Communication:
• Support investor relations efforts by providing updates on investment activities, portfolio performance, and market insights.
• Assist in preparing investor presentations, reports, and communications for investor meetings and fundraising efforts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective investors, ensuring transparency and alignment of interests.
• Thought Leadership and Industry Engagement:
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies relevant to venture capital and startup ecosystem.
• Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance visibility, share insights, and build strategic partnerships.
