Our client is an asset management firm. They are looking for an Investment Specialist to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales by developing relationships with new and existing Financial Advisors
  • Develop business plans, manage territories, and drive regional and corporate objectives
  • Call your assigned territory for scheduling, prospecting, or relationship development purposes
  • Answer and convert inbound calls from the territory into opportunities to drive sales
  • Uphold knowledge of every Fund and articulate Firm and product information within Firm guidelines
  • Stay up-to-date on all accounts, including specific rules of distributors and platforms
  • Utilize CRM system to research business, log activity, and run competitive analysis
  • Effectively prioritize and manage daily, weekly, and monthly workload
  • Work as a cohesive team to support all sales and client service activities and goals
  • Travel within the territory and attend work conferences when applicable

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in the business field
  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Financial services industry background
  • Able to multi-task and work efficiently under stress
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Team-oriented and collaborative personality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel; Salesforce
  • Must have Series 7 and 63
