Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Investment Manager to join our venture capital team on a full-time basis. The Investment Manager will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing investment opportunities, as well as supporting portfolio companies to achieve growth and success. Roles And Responsibilities
Deal Sourcing and Evaluation:
Identify and evaluate investment opportunities aligned with the firm's investment thesis and strategic objectives.
Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, competitive landscape assessment, and risk evaluation.
Build relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and other stakeholders to source high-quality deal flow.
Investment Execution:
Lead and manage the end-to-end investment process, from initial deal screening and due diligence to investment committee presentations and negotiation.
Develop detailed financial models, perform valuation analyses, and assess investment risks and opportunities.
Prepare investment memos, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and investment committee review.
Portfolio Management:
Monitor and manage a portfolio of early-stage investments, tracking financial performance, operational metrics, and strategic milestones.
Work closely with portfolio company management teams to provide strategic guidance, support growth initiatives, and optimize operational efficiencies.
Conduct regular portfolio reviews, performance analysis, and risk assessments to inform investment decisions and portfolio strategy adjustments.
Investor Relations and Reporting:
Support investor relations efforts by providing updates on portfolio performance, investment activities, and market trends.
Assist in preparing investor communications, quarterly reports, and presentations for investor meetings and fundraising efforts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective investors, ensuring transparency and alignment of interests.
Market Research and Industry Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies relevant to the venture capital and startup ecosystem.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify sector-specific opportunities and potential investment themes.
Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to support the firm's investment strategy and decision-making process.
