Job Summary:
The Investment Consultant Manager will lead a team focused on generating and managing assets within our thematic ETF suite. The role involves strategic oversight and leadership in identifying business opportunities, engaging with financial advisors, and managing wealth client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in investment management and team leadership, demonstrating the ability to mentor and enhance team capabilities while maintaining a high level of industry knowledge and client engagement.
Primary Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Direct and develop a team of investment consultants, fostering an environment of growth and performance.
Asset Management: Strategically oversee and enhance asset management within the firm’s thematic ETF products.
Business Development: Lead initiatives to engage financial advisors and generate new business opportunities within a designated territory.
Client Relationship Management: Oversee and enhance client relationship strategies, ensuring the firm’s thematic ETF offerings are effectively positioned.
Industry Expertise and Training: Ensure the team remains updated on industry trends and are proficient in delivering value-added presentations.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Sales Management to develop and implement strategic initiatives and projects.
Event Leadership: Guide and represent the team at industry and other relevant events.
Administrative Oversight: Oversee the management of travel and expense reporting and other administrative tasks by the team.
Additional Responsibilities: Lead by example and take on additional duties as necessary to support and enhance team effectiveness.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of management experience in the ETF or investment management industry, with a strong background in strategic leadership and client interactions.
Licenses: Possession of Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 7, and Series 63 licenses.
Skills: Advanced knowledge of ETF products, outstanding communication and leadership abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Attributes: High level of self-motivation, exemplary ethics, strong collaborative and leadership skills, with the ability to drive team success and talent development.
