POSITION:
Investment Banking Vice President (or Senior Associate) in Jefferies Boston Office.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Jefferies is seeking an Investment Banking Vice President (or Senior Associate) to lead transactions in a highly active capital markets environment – this team executes the full suite of investment banking services including M&A (predominately sell-side), debt financings utilizing Jefferies committed syndicated and direct lending capabilities, and equity capital markets transactions including IPOs, follow-on and growth raises. This is an exceptionally active group executing a high volume of private equity-linked deals. Lead sell-side M&A execution experience is a must. The Boston office houses approximately 50 people and this team consists of ~20 bankers focused on consumer, retail, business services, distribution, and technology transactions related to the automotive aftermarket.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Strong sell-side M&A experience
- Desire to lead transactions
- Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple parties
- Manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Developed knowledge of private equity market
- Preparation of pitch books and live deal materials, including offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations and prospectuses
- Expert financial modeling and business analysis
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA is a plus) from an accredited college or university AND 5+ years of Investment Banking experience
- Desire to live and work in Boston
The salary range for this role is $225,000 - $275,000.
