As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate and Investment Bank, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
  • Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
  • Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
  • Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
  • Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
  • Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Formal training or certification on relevant job skill concepts and proficient advanced experience
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Advanced in one or more programming language(s): C#, Windows, .NET
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
  • Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
  • Practical cloud native experience

As a Software Engineer III - QA Automation Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate and Investment Bank, you will draw on your sharp critical thinking skills to collaborate with development, implementation and support engineers to build automated test modules as well as participate in the requirements and design processes of the system.

Job Responsibilities

  • Use an innovative, business-focused approach to test a variety of product features and solutions on the System
  • Build automated QA modules using Test Complete
  • Work collaboratively with support, implementation, and development teams, including contractors and offshore team members, in an agile environment
  • Partner continuously with cross-functional stakeholders to advance all phases of the software development lifecycle and meet common objectives
  • Gather and analyze complex technical and functional requirements of solutions, appropriate for QA testing
  • Contribute to discussions solution design to align with QA objectives
  • Deliver test strategies and plans
  • Help analyze, troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly
  • Work independently and proactively on tasks as they arise

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Formal training or certification on Computer Science concepts and proficient applied experience
  • 4+ years hands-on software engineering and/or QA experience
  • 2+ years experience working with TestComplete or other automation tool
  • MS SQL Server or other relational database experience
  • Capable of working in Azure Cloud or other cloud native environment
  • Team player and independent/proactive worker, providing support as needed to other areas of the business

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Testing commercial Investment, Portfolio, Order or Execution Management (IMS, PMS, OMS, EMS) systems, Accounting systems and/or other buy-side experience
  • Browser based automation tools like Selenium
  • Working knowledge of the Financial industry is strongly preferred
  • Microsoft technology stack
  • Working with offshore teams
  • Agile/Scrum
  • Jira

  • Work collaboratively with other developers in an agile envirorment.
  • Partner with stakeholders to advance all phases of the software development lifecycle and meet common objectives.
  • Gather and analyze complex technical and functional requirerments of proposed platform solutions.
  • Contribute to discussion on architectural and databse design with the respect to product direction
  • Deliver design specs, documentation and testing plans as defined by the Agile development process
  • Own assigned tasks end to end and indepently while adopting direction from other technical leads or executive leadership.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Formal training or certification on Azure administrative concepts and proficient advanced experience
  • Azure administrative experience (understanding of the Azure infrastructure in general, ability to creat and configure various.
  • Azure resources such as: Resource Groups, VMs, Storge Accounts, Service Buses, Expose API in AAD)
  • Mid level .NET development skills (.NET/C# 4+, Entity Framework 6.x, ADO.NET, Quartz lib, SignalR)
  • Python
  • Atlassian Jira/Confluence configuration
  • Strong SLQ Server DBA experiece, SSRS administration
  • Strong Windows Server administration experience (mid-strong mid-level)

Job Responsibilities

  • Executing Transactions: support due diligence, document preparation, negotiation etc. and liaising with relevant counterpart at the client/other advisers (accounting, legal, etc.)
  • Working with J.P. Morgan product and sector teams
  • Building and using complex financial models, completing valuation and analytical exercises
  • Drafting presentation materials, management presentations, Board materials, Memorandums, and other presentation materials for use in M&A and capital markets transactions or strategic client dialogue
  • Keeping abreast of key market developments and establishing knowledge of the target client base and relevant market dynamics

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • 1+ years prior work experience:
    • in an investment banking front office role
    • in a relevant role at a top tier consulting firm (financial, commercial, or operational due diligence)
  • Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Understanding of the transaction cycle and the steps in the process and is execution oriented.
  • Impeccable communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other line of business.
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
