Investment Banking Associate

This client is a Middle Market Investment Bank who is looking to bring on a Sr. Analyst/Associate I to join their Healthcare team in New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for the healthcare industry. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile transactions and contribute to the growth and success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including valuation, financial modeling, and due diligence.
• Prepare pitch books, presentations, and other marketing materials for client meetings.
• Assist in the execution of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, and debt financings.
• Perform industry and company research to support business development and client advisory activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, potential clients, and industry professionals.
• Collaborate with senior team members to identify new business opportunities and support ongoing client engagements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
• 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, preferably within the healthcare sector.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
