Overview of the Role:

Our client is looking for an Investment Associate to join the Sales team and help grow the company.

You will play a key role in the daily operations and it is an outstanding opportunity to be a key member of the company's development and position yourself for a gigantic career growth opportunity.


As part of the team, you will:

- Support senior managers and partners in deal origination activities, including obtaining investment targets, evaluating targets, preparing historical and projected financial statements, and developing financial models

- Speak with company founders, CEOs, and entrepreneurs to introduce our clients and assess their suitability for the investment mandate

- Serve as a lead for day-to-day contact with the executive teams of the prospect companies being evaluated

- Be involved in execution activities, including responsibilities such as data collection, analysis, and preparation of materials, as well as taking responsibility for managing business valuation processes, such as conducting due diligence investigations and preparing transaction documentation


Key qualifications and skills to succeed in this role:

- Advanced English (spoken and written)

- BA or equivalent with emphasis in finance/ business administration, accounting, statistics, or economics

- Previous experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or related fields

- Great attention to detail

- Ability to not only model and present data, but also transform data and analysis into personal input and actionable recommendations

- Strong multitasking skills

- Performs well under pressure and can meet tight deadlines

- Capable of working with a high degree of autonomy

- Strong interpersonal skills can confidently and clearly communicate with and present to business founders, CEOs, entrepreneurs, other C-level employees, and senior investment professionals


Desirable:


- It is not mandatory but would be best if you have a strong network in the startup or venture world
