The Investment Analyst will play a crucial role in daily portfolio management and reporting, assisting with the initial diligence of external public and private investment managers, and monitoring portfolio actions. The investment team oversees a $1B+ portfolio, aiming to transition the entire portfolio to a non-concessionary, measurable social impact investment strategy over several years. The Investment Analyst will collaborate closely with the Portfolio Associate and report directly to the Director of Investing.
Key Responsibilities:
Investment Support: Capture, analyze, and report multi-platform financial data to support the organization’s investment functions.
Daily Portfolio Management: Assist with the daily management needs of the portfolio.
Capital Call Review: Evaluate capital call requests and respond to investor queries related to fundraising, distributions, and other activities.
Opportunity Filtering: Schedule informational meetings with private market firms and help filter potential investment opportunities.
Document Preparation: Prepare initial draft documents for public and private investment commitments.
Strategic Implementation: Work with the Portfolio Associate and Director of Investments to execute strategic initiatives.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: 0-2 years in financial services.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with strong self-motivation to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
