Our client is a private equity commercial real estate investment firm headquartered in Denver, Colorado. Their senior management team has over 50 years of experience as principal investors in value-add and opportunistic acquisitions and developments and have been responsible for investing $4.0 billion of capital in commercial real estate across all property types.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate four primary types of real estate opportunities (office, industrial, retail, multifamily) by analyzing market trends, industry research and supply/demand fundamentals
Create and maintain complex financial models using MS Excel and ARGUS Enterprise to forecast leveraged cash flows, joint venture waterfalls, and financial return metrics for potential and existing investments.
Help structure business plans, perform due diligence and produce well-organized investment memos.
Support an investment team with asset management and reporting processes for investments by maintaining underwriting models, reviewing third-party financial reports, and creating internal analyses/valuations.
Complete other tasks as needed to support investment management protocols, help optimize team performance and reduce investment risk.
