We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Investigations Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis. As an Investigations Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting complex investigations into a variety of matters, ranging from corporate misconduct to regulatory compliance issues. This role requires a strong background in investigative techniques, analytical skills, and the ability to deliver thorough and objective findings.
Roles And Responsibilities
Investigative Planning and Execution:
Develop and execute investigative plans and strategies to address allegations of misconduct, fraud, conflicts of interest, or other unethical behavior.
Conduct interviews, gather evidence, and analyze data to uncover facts and determine the validity of allegations.
Document Review and Analysis:
Review and analyze documents, financial records, emails, and other relevant materials to support investigations.
Use forensic tools and techniques to extract and analyze electronic evidence as necessary.
Fact-Finding and Evidence Collection:
Collect and preserve evidence in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
Identify and interview witnesses, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to obtain relevant information.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive investigative reports detailing findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
Present findings to stakeholders, management, or legal counsel as needed.
Compliance and Regulatory Support:
Ensure investigations adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Provide guidance and support on compliance matters and regulatory requirements related to investigations.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
Assess risks associated with investigative findings and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
Advise on preventive measures to strengthen internal controls and policies.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, human resources, compliance, and external counsel, to coordinate investigative efforts.
Serve as a liaison with external parties, such as law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, and external auditors.
