The Inventory Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the inventory life cycle, receiving all RMA’s and completing all in-house fulfillments related to Amazon Sales. This position will also serve as a backup in the warehouse for material handling positions as needed to support the business.
Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain and update inventory records and system to ensure accurate and timely inventory tracking.
Participate in regular daily inventory cycle counts and coordinate physical inventory audits as needed.
Review and analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
Individually break-down all RMA’s to validate quality, quantity, and accuracy of SKU prior to receipt.
Organize the SKU configuration(s) by department to ensure that all received returns are transferred to the proper department.
Communicate with Quality, Customer Service, &/or Sales regarding any discrepancies or quality-related issues pertaining to each individual return.
Ensure that all fulfillments are completed within the expected timelines of Amazon fulfillment sales.
Ensure that all items are properly packaged prior to shipment, ensuring the highest quality product is being delivered to our customers.
Assist warehouse team with unloading of containers and putting away of product when business demands.
Always maintain a clean workstation.
Follow and ensure all safety standards are met.
Other tasks as requested.
Ensures compliance with quality, 6S, and OSHA programs; assures conformity to all company and customer.
Working Conditions/Environment:
Works primarily in a warehouse environment where the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, lift 50 lbs. regularly, walk, reach, grasp and bend while moving about their workstation and facility. May be required to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. The employee may periodically be exposed to non-ambient temperatures, odors, or dust. All required PPE must always be worn while in the warehouse environment in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
Qualification Requirements:
3-5 years warehouse experience preferred
Office 365 a plus
RF Scan a plus
Forklift certified
Strong communication skills
Understanding of quality insurance
