Position: Inventory Specialist (Spine division)

Location: Norcross, GA (on site)

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

The Inventory Specialist for the Spine division will report directly to the Spine Operations Manager and will have no direct reports. This position is responsible for supporting the sales organization by coordinating all inventory management activities of assigned medical devices accounts.


Scope of Role Responsibilities:

The essential functions include but are not limited to supporting the Field Locations, Warehouse Operations, Sales Leaders and others in assigned areas.

Utilize inventory management system for the distribution of products/services for sales personnel and customers.

Maintain count accuracy (digital and physical counting).

Manage reports and analyze account metrics and productivity standards.

Oversee procedures to maintain accurate inventory records.

Provide Inventory and data analysis.

Understand and implement procedures to manage inventory shelf life and expiring inventory.

Keep records of all interactions and transactions of data regarding inventory inquiries.

Track service levels and inventory discrepancies.

Reconcile inventory accounts.

Investigate discrepancies and adjust for errors.

Prepare records of inventory shortages and shipments.

Dispose of damaged, defective, or obsolete products through proper regulatory and quality procedures.

Implement and support quality initiatives throughout the organization.

Store items orderly and easily accessible in warehouse based on protocol.

Perform or assist with other duties and projects as needed & as assigned.

Qualifications:

Oracle/JDE experience preferred

Undergraduate degree or related experience in Supply Chain/Logistics/Accounting/Finance is a plus.

1 or more years of experience in an inventory-specific role is a plus.

Experience with budget management is a plus.

Familiar with data entry systems is a plus.

Customer focused/must work well with customers of all levels/backgrounds.

Highly developed interpersonal, analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills.

Experience in working in a fast-paced rapidly growing environment in which collaboration in all directions is necessary.

Demonstrated Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (specifically Microsoft Excel).

Physical Demands:

Moderate to heavy physical activity. Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Standing, sitting & moving for extended amounts of time.

Able to stand and bend for long periods of time in a warehouse environment.

Able to navigate throughout the warehouse facility.
