Are you passionate about efficient inventory management? We are seeking a skilled Inventory Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in overseeing and optimizing our inventory control processes.
What You'll Do
Develop and implement effective procedures to ensure our inventory is accurate and well-managed.
Keep a close eye on inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs.
Use innovative forecasting methods to anticipate inventory needs and prevent shortages.
Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
Lead cycle counting and physical inventory processes to uphold precision and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Collaborate closely with teams across the organization, such as purchasing and production, to streamline operations and optimize inventory levels.
Identify opportunities for system and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Mentor and train our inventory control team to uphold the highest standards.
Analyze data and generate insightful reports on inventory performance and opportunities for enhancement.
Monitor inventory turnover and proactively manage slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
What You'll Need
A degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in inventory management.
Proficiency in inventory management principles and software systems.
Experience with inventory forecasting and demand planning.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards related to inventory management.
Prior experience in leading and motivating teams is a plus.
