WOW Logistics is now hiring for an Inventory Manager!
We are seeking an experienced inventory leader who will oversee all aspects of inventory management and serve as a strategic leader across our network. In this critical role, you will directly manage all Distribution Center inventory support staff and report to the VP of Quality Assurance.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic leadership of all inventory processes across the WOW Distribution Center network
- Lead, develop, coach, train, and provide direct supervision of all Inventory Control Supervisors and Coordinators
- Work with Distribution Centers to anticipate and react to shortages and changes in inventory
- Manage the cycle count process and associated Inventory Accuracy Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Manage the over, short, damage, and disposal processes
- Partner with Operations and IT on RF application enhancements for more accurate inventory management processes
- Partner with Quality Auditors to develop sound picking accuracy processes to ensure all orders are picked and delivered in full
- Understand customer contract language pertaining to all inventory metrics and work with sales partners and customers to develop proper reconciliation processes
- Track KPIs and develop proper reporting mechanisms to display and communicate results internally and externally
- Assist in MIA investigation and disposition processes
- Perform transaction histories and conduct root cause analysis investigations
- Partner with Engineering to re-slot inventory placement as necessary
- Conduct process evaluations
- Ensure proper documentation of all Inventory Control SOPs
- Partner with Food Safety to understand inventory allergen protocols, mock recall processes, and traceability requirement and execution in all facilities
Qualifications:
- Experience in inventory management required
- Bachelor’s degree in business preferred or equivalent experience
- Prior supervisory and/or management experience preferred
- Experience in various WMS applications and willingness to learn all software used across the network (Oracle, JDE, SAP, SCALE)
- Positive person with a “can do” attitude that likes to work hard and have fun doing it
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills necessary in Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Should be extremely organized, analytical, professional, courteous, and able to follow instructions
- Strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and under little supervision
- Exceptional math skills with a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
