About The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join the team. As an Inventory Manager, you will oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control and management. You will be responsible for developing inventory management strategies, monitoring inventory levels, and implementing efficient inventory control processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs.
  • Implement inventory forecasting methods to ensure supply meets demand and reduce stockouts.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track inventory accuracy, turnover, and other operational metrics.
  • Manage cycle counting and physical inventory processes to ensure inventory accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as purchasing and production, to optimize inventory levels and streamline processes.
  • Identify and implement improvements to inventory management systems and processes.
  • Train and develop inventory control staff to ensure compliance with inventory management procedures.
  • Analyze data and generate reports on inventory performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor inventory turnover and identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory to take appropriate actions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards in inventory management.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, methods, and software systems.
  • 2+ years of NetSuite experience is a must
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with inventory forecasting and demand planning.
  • Proficient in data analysis and generating reports.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to inventory management.
  • Experience in leading and managing inventory control teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
