Inventory Manager

Pride Health is hiring an Inventory Manager for one of its clients in North Carolina.

This is a 3-month contract with a possible extension with competitive pay and benefits.

Location – Greensboro, North Carolina– 27401

Pay range - $30 - $35 per hour.

Length of assignment – 3 months (With possible extension)

Shift – Mon- Fri (8 Am to 5 pm)

Job Duties

• Inventory Planning and Forecasting: Develop and implement inventory strategies to optimize stock levels while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory. Forecast demand trends and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels across multiple locations or warehouses. Implement systems and procedures to ensure accurate inventory counts, including regular cycle counts and reconciliation processes.
• Supplier Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and goods. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to optimize inventory costs.
• Order Fulfillment: Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to fulfill customer orders on time and in full. Ensure availability of materials and finished goods to meet production schedules and customer demand.
• Inventory Analysis and Reporting: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Generate regular reports on inventory performance, including stock levels, turnover rates, and aging inventory.
• Inventory Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve inventory turnover, reduce carrying costs, and minimize stockouts. Implement strategies such as safety stock levels, reorder points, and economic order quantities.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve inventory management processes and procedures. Implement best practices to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and increase efficiency.
• Inventory Audits and Compliance: Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Implement controls to prevent loss, theft, or damage to inventory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in inventory analytics
• Invoice resolution experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Lawson - Infor experience
• Understanding of warehouse and inventory management is preferred
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccine is required.
