INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Seeking experienced individual to coordinate tracking of raw materials and finished goods that are owned by the company and the customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage company owned inventory to maintain accuracy of physical inventory and ERP system
• Work in unison with the Inventory Control Dept. in the plant for inventory physical verification, cycle counts, and investigation of inventory discrepancies
• Issue receiving paperwork and maintain records of all raw materials and communication with customers regarding inventory
• Ensure that customers have shipped materials and they are delivered in a timely manner to optimize production throughput
• Work with Purchasing to monitor inventory levels for upcoming blends including follow up with customers
• Schedule and handle transactions needed to maintain efficient inventory levels of materials using ERP
• Communicate with external and internal customers regarding inventory
• Prepare reports as required by management and customers
  
  

Ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in the chemical industry preferred
• ERP experience with proficiency in Inventory
• General knowledge of inventory management systems/procedures
• Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills
• Attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
• Strong initiative and problem solving expertise
• Excellent communication skills
  
  

Compensation: DOE, full time (M-F) with full benefits package. Drug/Smoke Free Environment.
