Inventory & Logistics Coordinator

Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with experience in logistics and inventory management?

We are a small team, located in Edison NJ and are looking for the right person to join us as an Inventory & Logistics Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

• 3PL Management: Research, contract with, and hire third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to optimize our logistics operations.
• Purchase Order Processing: Receive and process all purchase orders (POs) promptly and accurately.
• Invoicing Management: Oversee all invoicing activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Carrier Coordination: Set up pickup appointments with carriers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Amazon Shipment Preparation: Label and stage shipments for Amazon, ensuring compliance with their requirements.
• Pallet Auditing: Audit all pallets before dispatch to ensure proper Bills of Lading (BOLs), sturdy construction to prevent breakage, and overall shipment integrity.
• Data Maintenance: Maintain accurate data in NetSuite with Excel backups for reliability and consistency.
• Inventory Management:

Replenish container orders with suppliers in India.

Check in containers upon arrival at the warehouse.

Own, update, and report on all inventory levels.

Qualifications:

• Experience in logistics, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
• If you have experience in Big Box Retail, Retail Operations or Food Service Management - please apply!
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience with Netsuite preferred however experience with other Inventory Management Systems (ERP).
• Organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
