Inventory Jr. Analyst

General Purpose:

Complete the day to day duties for Distribution planning of Finished Goods. This will entail taking the demand plan and using to develop a supply plan.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Distribution Planning
• Coordinate Forecast load into Master Scheduling
• Manage the Master Schedule parameters to create gross production requirements for factories and POR for purchasing agents
• Develop the forecasted outs report for each distribution location and research issues.
• Maintain Minimum and Multiple settings for each Finished Goods Parts
• Review Customer Order Shortages and communicate availability with customer service and or the factory affected
• Communicate changes in product availability with Distribution Managers
• Update customer order planned dates based on revised availability of inventory
• Inter Company Transfers
• Issue and Maintain Intercompany Purchase Orders
• Confirmation of Intercompany Purchase Orders
• Setup of Supplier for Purchase Part in accordance with company processes
• Communicate changes in scheduling with the factory planners.
• Communicate Expedites of Inventory with the Distribution Managers
• Manage Adjustments of Inventory for creation of picklists

Knowledge/Skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Good communications skills to help distribution managers resolve conflicts in schedules.
• Must be able to understand the planning parameters for parts.
• Must be able to anticipate problems and make decisions quickly and confidently.
• Must understand inventory control and management.

Education Requirements/ Experience

• Four year college degree in related field or 1-3 years industry experience
• Prior experience working with ERP planning systems preferred
