Inventory Planner

Our client is seeking an Inventory Planner to join their Inventory Management team.

This role is a hybrid model in Boston, Massachusetts.

Inventory Planner Responsibilities

• Take ownership of short lead time process management, evaluating current processes and collaborating with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to drive improvements and document processes.
• Conduct continuous inventory analysis to make data-driven decisions that optimize opportunity and service levels while mitigating inventory risks.
• Manage production orders with our trading company, ensuring timely and efficient procurement.
• Regularly monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and engage with stakeholders to understand various perspectives and roles impacting buying processes.
• Actively seek areas of opportunity for process improvements, consistently asking "why" to drive progress and change.
• Work closely with the North America Inventory Manager and cross-functional partners to establish and uphold data governance standards and develop new reporting and data views for Inventory and Inventory KPIs.
• Collaborate proactively with various departments including Integrated Marketplace Planning, Commercial, Finance, Direct to Consumer, and Global Supply Planning, as well as distribution centers and trading companies.

Inventory Planner Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in forecasting, purchasing, planning, inventory management, or replenishment within the consumer goods industry.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power Point above industry standards.
• Experience with SAP is required; familiarity with Alteryx is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated background in process improvement and design.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize quantitative and qualitative data for analysis and decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage and influence leaders across the organization.
• Strong collaboration skills with a proactive and curious mindset, constantly seeking growth and evolution opportunities.

Compensation: $38.73-$42.25/hr. (DOE)Benefits
