Position:Inventory Control Lead.Please note that this is a smaller warehouse environment. We stock inventory at two locations for our fleet of 30 vehicles and growing! No forklift or heavy equipment usage at our facilities.
Work Schedule:Monday – Friday. 6:30am - 3:00pm.
Compensation: $24.00-$28.00 per hour dependent on experience and role proficiency
Job Summary:This position is responsible for the accurate counting, ordering, distribution, and receipt of parts and materials from our internal supply warehouse. This individual is key to the successful management of our inventory within the supply warehouse and our fleet of trucks.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conducting Inventory Audits of Stocked Fleet and Warehouse
Accepting and receiving deliveries
Processing Returns and Warranty Claims
Parts Ordering and Replenishment including Specialty Items
Transfer and Record parts/ materials moves between fleet and warehouse
Invoice Processing and Reconciliation for Warehouse with accounting
Delivering Parts to Jobsite when needed in company vehicle
Maintains accurate records of inventory and shop tools daily
Manages and maintains inventory system
Manages and maintains Shop Tools inventory and use program
Conducts Monthly Cycle Counts (fleet and warehouse)
Conducts Quarterly Physical Inventory Count
Reviews slow and dead inventory and provides recommendations to reduce
Works with team to build out truck stock templates when revisions are needed
Manages materials and parts complaints and recalls
Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
At least Two Years in an inventory position,including Parts & Materials,or direct equivalent experience
High proficiency with aWMS or ICS (Service Titan a plus!)
Intermediate or higher proficiency level Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint)
Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy of inventory
Current drivers license with clean driving record as this role requires use of company vehicles
Preferred Skills & Abilities
Thorough understanding of general warehouse policies and procedures
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent time management skill
Physical Requirements
Must complete physical tasks that require continuous lifting, bending, reaching, standing, and carrying
Work area within the warehouse, outside in the yard, and on-site at customer locations
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
