Accounting Manager (Inventory)

Our client is a booming global company and has an immediate need for an experienced Inventory Accounting Manager to support their growing organization in creating inventory accounting processes. The ideal candidate is driven and enjoys taking part in optimizing accounting operations.

This is a remote role requiring occasional travel to offices in Portland, Oregon or Denver, Colorado.

Accounting Manager (Inventory) Responsibilities:

• Locate and record lost inventory by tracking them through the manufacturing process, starting with the original purchase order number.
• Support development and implementation of inventory processes in Excel.
• Partner with stakeholders to implement an inventory accounting process for a new ERP System.
• Audit data for accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
• Assist with ad-hoc inventory and financial reporting activities.

Accounting Manager (Inventory) Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or related industry; multi-national experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting processes and GAAP.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar preferred) and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Process-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
