We are is looking for an organized and effective International Logistics Specialist to direct shipping/receiving, supply chain and warehousing operations overseas. The International Logistics Specialist should be a problem solver, with the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions as well as operate independently. The International Logistics Specialist should also be experienced in navigating cross-cultural differences in the workplace. A multilingual individual with strong communications skills in English is highly desired. Candidates should be interested in traveling on rotations and/or relocating to the Middle East, North Africa, or South Asia.


The successful candidate will:

  • Oversee and coordinate the efficient transportation and storage of products, equipment and materials, ensuring the goods arrive at their destinations safely, timely, and cost-effectively.
  • Be responsible for the company’s supply chain management system.
  • Manage inventory levels, negotiate with freight carriers, achieve productivity targets, and resolve any customer service issues to ensure the logistics process runs efficiently.
  • Need to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and perform your duties in a manner that maximizes profits.
  • Be dedicated, competent and have strong leadership skills.
  • Have Arabic/Urdu language fluency, with the ability to read instructions and communicate in English.
  • Be interested in relocating on a rotational basis.
  • Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Prepare and review reports regularly, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing logistics operations.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management and/or freight forwarding procedures and best practices, to include proficiency in logistics software and systems.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with international shipping regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
