International Compliance

LHH is partnering with an established company in the Portland Metro area on an International Compliance position.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance Management:

• Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations, including import and export laws, customs regulations, and trade agreements.
• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in international trade laws and regulations.

Annual Cycle Counts:

• Manage and coordinate annual cycle counts for international inventory.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory records.
• Analyze cycle count results and implement corrective actions as needed.

Freight Forwarding:

• Oversee the management of international freight forwarding operations.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
• Monitor and optimize freight forwarding processes to enhance efficiency.

Import and Export Operations:

• Manage import and export documentation.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and submit compliance reports to relevant authorities.
• Maintain accurate and organized compliance records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in international compliance, freight forwarding, and import/export operations.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
• Experience with annual cycle counts and inventory management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

$28hr-$32hr
