POSITION TITLE: Internal Auditor

POSITION PURPOSE:

Perform complex level professional internal auditing work involving performance, financial and compliance audit projects. Work independently or in a team under general supervision by Senior Audit staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Partners and assist Senior Auditor staff to evaluate the organisation's readiness. Evaluates regulatory compliance. Reports risk management issues and internal controls deficiencies identified directly to the audit committee and provides recommendations for improving the organization's operations, in terms of both efficient and effective performance. Provides support to the company's anti-fraud programs

Pursue professional development opportunities including external and internal training and professional association memberships. Share information gained with co-workers on audit-related issues. Perform related work as assigned by audit management.

Assisting audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing scoping criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence and documenting processes and procedures. Conduct interviews, review documents, develop and administer surveys, compose summary memos and prepare working papers. Identify, develop and document audit issues. Make recommendations with support of Senior Audit staff concerning areas being reviewed.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree
