Job Purpose

The purpose of this position is to provide support to the Commercial Marketing and Operations teams as needed. The Commercial Marketing and Operations Intern will take direction and work in close collaboration with the Head of Digital Marketing to learn key concepts in managing promotional marketing and digital marketing processes, analytics and planning, and content creation and approval processes.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Actively participate in Marketing and Commercial Operations teams to bring at least two new ideas and perspectives that are actionable, and execute on at least one of those ideas.
• Participate in Promotional Review Committee meetings participating in the full process of creation and approval of at least three promotional/training materials. Research, document, and present at least one insight to increase the efficiency of the promotional review process.
• Analyze data from at least three brand websites each month to support data entry and insights. Create a dashboard that can be used across brands to identify trends, segments, and strategies that could enhance brand performance and track and report on campaigns that drive to these websites.
• Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of non-personal email campaigns and operations monthly. Provide insights and recommendations that lead to improvement in campaign performance metrics.
• Engage in, document, and present at least two learning opportunities related to best practices in Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Compliance, product knowledge, and industry best practices.
• Candidates will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resources and drive profitable growth of our supported brands by showing high emotional intelligence and understanding the needs and drivers of our teams, patients, and partners.
  
  
  

Education / Position Requirements

• Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program
• Strong interest in marketing and sales; experience/interest in life sciences a plus
• Strong analytical skills; advanced use of Excel & PowerBI is a plus
• Interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with peers
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; use of PowerPoint and Word a plus
• Demonstrate flexibility, innovation, and initiative with desire to share new ideas and perspectives

Full/Part Time (Summer) / 30-40 hours per week
