The Role

Druva is looking for a high-energy, roll-up-their-sleeves intern who is hungry to learn and take on a critical role in day-to-day financial operations. This position will be part of the Finance and Operations organization and will get exposure to various functions within the group (Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, FP&A, Accounting). This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the various Finance and Operation functions and roles at a fast-paced late stage startup that operates globally.

One of the primary projects this intern will take on will be partnering with our Sales Operations team, ensuring the timely and accurate submission of closed won deals to AWS, Druva’s cloud services technology partner. As the intern ramps up, additional value-add projects from the Finance and Operations organization will also be assigned. The role will be based in our Santa Clara headquarters and will be part-time (4 hours onsite 2-3 days per week, additional hours done remotely).

Your Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Responsible for all aspects of requesting funding from AWS for their Workload Migration Program;
  • Collaborating with FP&A team so they are up-to-date with funding requests and when credits will be received;
  • Timely submissions to ensure a steady flow of credits, so that targets are met;
  • Monitoring any special requests made and ensuring credits are received for these separately

  • Can communicate roadblocks and order challenges and consult strategically to management;
  • Has the ability and confidence to engage cross functional teams as applicable to drive outcomes and issues to resolution;
  • Maintains and make improvements on documentation requirements;
  • Provides input for on-going development and improvement on systems and operation processes, enabling repeatable processes and scalability

Skills

  • Experience using Microsoft Office 365 and G-Suite, particularly in Excel and Sheets;
  • Experience using Salesforce;
  • Good communication skills

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $31/hr and $41/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized, non-discriminatory factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits program, including health and wellness benefits, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
