Intern, Email Marketing

The Arlo Marketing Team is looking for an Email Marketing Intern to assist with email marketing campaign planning and execution. The successful candidate will be able to balance both a creative and analytical approach, with focus on engaging both existing and prospective customers to drive profitability & long-term growth. You will work closely with the Lifecycle Marketing Team as well as other cross-functional teams to develop effective campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and execution of email marketing campaigns: design, development, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and analysis
• Audit and catalog internal email while evaluating branding, design, messaging, and functionality of emails to develop the most effective communications
• Collaborate with other teams, such as Technology Services, Integrated Marketing, UX, & Product to identify cross-functional strategies and tactics
• Create content and write copy
• Use data and A/B testing to optimize content and segmentation

Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of email marketing and digital marketing concepts
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
• Experience with HTML, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, & Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus
• BA/BS degree is a plus.

The pay range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at commencement of employment and is expected to be between $20-25/hour. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including location, role, job-related knowledge, skills, relevant education and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including bonus, equity, and a full range of benefits.
