Intermediate Interior Designer

Job Title: Intermediate Interior Designer (4+ years professional experience)

Location: New York, NY

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Intermediate Interior Designer with experience in Revit to join a dynamic team in New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong design sensibility, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior designers and project managers to develop design concepts and presentations.
• Produce detailed interior design drawings and documentation using Revit.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other consultants to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project.
• Select and specify FF&E.
• Prepare mood boards, material boards, and other presentation materials.
• Conduct site visits and participate in client meetings.
• Assist in project management tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in interior design.
• Proficiency in Revit is a must; experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is also required.
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and materials.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of current trends in interior design and a passion for creating innovative solutions.
