We are looking for a talented and versatile Interior Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Project Designers, Project Architects, and our Senior Interior Designer in Austin as we collaborate to create exceptional solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and multitask across several projects of average size and complexity.
• Exercise good judgment in evaluating, selecting, and utilizing standard techniques.
• Communicate design concepts through finish selections, FF&E, renderings, and contract documentation.
• Participate in development of client presentations
• Implement interior standards in documentation and address redlines.
• Coordinate with consultants, considering cost implications of design choices.
• Build and maintain physical and digital material boards.
• Collaborate with Project Designers to develop and express coherent design concepts.
• Work with Spec Writers and Project Managers to coordinate specifications for each project.
• Participate in and present at design pin-up sessions.
• Expand knowledge and experience in design applications.
• Participate in PASS (Professional Advancement and Skills Sharing).
• Stay informed about trends in the interior design industry through research.

Qualifications

• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong knowledge of Revit and 3D modeling.
• Intermediate interior architecture detailing skills.
• Intermediate presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Enscape.
• Familiarity with design principles and construction documentation.
• Understanding of construction administration.
• Knowledge of finishes and FF&E.
• Strong desire to become a registered interior designer.
• Commitment to integrity and accountability.
• Ability to establish strong collaborative relationships.
• Receptive to new ideas and different perspectives.
• Embraces continuous learning and constant improvement.

Education & Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited architecture or interior design program.
• Preferably, 1-2+ years of experience in K-12 design.
• Registered Interior Designer, or on path to registration
