Interior Designer
We are looking for an Interior Designer to join our sales team in Atlanta. This is a full-time position and will perform work from KI’s Sales showroom in Atlanta, including working remotely when needed on customer visits.
In this position you will work closely with KI Sales Specialists, Dealers and Customers to create functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces while adhering to relevant blueprint, building code, and inspection requirements. You will provide direct support in CAD/CET, space planning, quoting, finish recommendations and project qualification. At times you may participate in customer presentations and will effectively be persuasive in communicating design ideas. Additionally, a portion of your time may be spent providing pre-sales and/or post-sales support including customer experience functions.
Additional responsibilities include:
· Create attractive designs and layouts for various projects
· Meet with client in order to understand the client’s objectives and desires
· Communicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client’s needs
· Prepare presentations for clients
· Create quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followed
· Maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Design, Interior Design or a related field. Some previous commercial furniture design experience desired. Strong AutoCAD proficiency and rendering skills required, CET desired, along with strong visual and spatial awareness.
Your achievements will be recognized and rewarded with a generous compensation plan with base salary between $57 and $73k.
