Job Description
AECOM is seeking a creative, talented Interior Designer for our Boston, MA office. AECOM’s Buildings + Places business line is dedicated to design excellence and integrated project delivery solutions with expertise including architecture, interiors, engineering, development, workplace strategy, economic planning, master planning, project management, and construction services. Our B+P Boston studio provides industry-leading design projects in aviation, transit, science, government and higher education markets.
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Provide interior design support to small to mid-sized projects and support Senior Interior Designers on larger projects.
Participate in all stages of the design process including visioning, programming, concept design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
Work closely with a Senior Architect / Project Manager, prepare and present client-focused design solutions to project team members.
Prepare designs, renderings, sketches, diagrams, schematics and working drawings to illustrate design solutions.
Develop and document details to communicate design intent.
Develop, adapt, or modify design features and details under the direction of a project manager, project designer, or project architect.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Interior Design preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Rhino, Sketch-up, or other 3D modeling and rendering software.
Strong communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills fostering a positive work environment.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $23.23/hour - $37.02/hour.
