Interior Design Assistant

Job description

Virtual Design Assistant works with top Residential Interior Design Firms. We are looking for experienced Design Assistants to join our members only community. We have part-time, contract opportunities working in the interior design field.

Must have:

• Previous experience working for an interior designer
• Formal interior design training.

We are looking for any combination of the following: admin, project management, procurement with extensive knowledge of wholesalers, Design Files, Ivy (Houzz Pro), Mydoma, Studio Designer, CAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, and social media.

Because this position works directly with clients, we are seeking a candidate who is organized, reliable, detail oriented, and replies to email, text, phone calls in a timely manner.

Responsibilities May Include

• Creating presentations and assisting in client meetings
• Preparing proposals, mood boards, and developing design concepts
• FF&E
• Communicating and coordinating with both clients and vendors to ensure meetings, deliveries and scheduling are all kept organized
• Creating floor plans, elevations, mockups, renderings
• Social Media/ Marketing- Writing blog posts, managing Instagram accounts, creating email campaigns

Role Requirements

• Interior Design degree and 2-3 years of experience in the Interior Design Field
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Experience with email and time management
