Interior Design Assistant

Position Summary: 

As the Interior Design Assistant, you'll work closely with the Lead Designer to furnish residential real estate properties that are in the process of coming to the market. Reporting directly to the Head Designer, you'll collaborate with the team to ensure tasks are efficiently completed. Your role involves providing administrative and clerical support to Interior Designers, maintaining constant communication with the team, and executing essential tasks. Proficiency in accessorizing and arranging furniture layouts is vital for this role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing the final presentation for clients, which may include sweeping, vacuuming, and ironing. 
• Orchestrate projects, and be able to accept responsibilities to ensure projects run smoothly.
• Work closely and in constant communication with the designers and team.
• Analyze the property and make sure it’s client-ready before they leave.
• Following and completing given tasks.
• Able to drive to various properties, and/or pick up small company orders.
• Clearly define all workflows, multitask, and ensure the most efficient way of completing all tasks.
• Identify the best tools and accessories to help complement and dress up the home or property. 
• Spanish speaking is not required but ideal

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift and move 30 lbs.
• Must be able to multi-task and coordinate with team members to complete installations and removals.
• Must have a meticulous eye for detail and color schemes with the ability to choose furniture, art and accessories for the appropriate style of home.

Education and Experience:

• 1 year of home staging or applicable experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Design degree or in process preferred.
