Duties

The work carried out by this position engages in the collection, evaluation, and analysis of intelligence information used for projecting data and/or estimates of future situations, developing trends and patterns, and producing studies and tactical data. This position starts at a salary of $121,485.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $157,934.00 (GS-13, Step 10). In this position you will serve as an expert in the planning, evaluating, discussing and testing of intelligence information. Your duties will include: Identifying intelligence gaps and assists with the development of associated essential elements of information required to satisfy and close the intelligence gaps Compiling, collating, extrapolating, and exploiting information from CBP databases, open source reporting, intelligence community, and law enforcement systems and databases in support of CBP border security operations Identifying, reviews, and evaluates large volumes of sensitive and complex information in support of strategic, operational or tactical operations. Assumes primary responsibility for the completion of long-range and broad-scope analytical products Using established intelligence techniques to analyze data from a variety of sources to develop targets, trends, patterns, profiles, estimates, and studies in support of CBP operational and mission success
