The Intake Assessment Supervisor provides additional support to the intake staff and ensures that all intake tasks are completed prior to the end of the shift. This position includes providing clinical guidance to other intake clinicians in making admission and programming decisions, and includes more supervisory tasks. This includes providing clinical supervision to licensure eligible staff and providing individual feedback to intake clinicians. The Intake Assessment Supervisor will assume the role of the Assessment and Referral Director when the Director is out of the office. This will include covering daily tasks such as auditing, creating the flash report, daily scheduling and representing the Assessment & Referral department in interdisciplinary meetings. Responsibilities include the overall administrative processes and management systems for the intake department.
The Intake Assessment Supervisor Is Responsible For
Inquiry calls are documented and processed in accordance with A&R policies.
Patients are assessed and stabilized prior to leaving hospital or admission to hospital arranged.
On call doctor is notified and assisted with patient interview.
Admission paperwork is completed in accordance with hospital policy.
Intake (EMTALA) log is completed with all information documented.
Follow up calls are made to those failing to show up for appointments.
Pre-certification is obtained in accordance with insurance requirements.
Guest relations are demonstrated by example and employees in need of guest relations training are counseled.
Administration is notified of problems or significant events.
Your Experience Matters What We’re Looking For
Education & Licensure: Licensed Social Worker/Licensed Professional Counselor with eligibility to obtain further licensure or Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor preferred.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in psychiatric/mental health field, with a minimum of one (1) year experience in advanced clinical/management practice preferred.
Additional Skill Requirements: A working knowledge of the latest DSM and Mental Status Exam.

Compensation
This is a Full time PM/ Rotating Weekends role and the expected compensation range is $65,000.00 - $75,000.00/ annually. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Intake Assessment Supervisor!
