Our client is currently looking to hire a Insurance Manager to join their team. This position supporting the Director of Risk & Safety Management, supervising 3 employees. In this role you will be handling insurance claims and ensures compliance with relevant policies, procedures, regulations, and laws. Additionally, the individual oversees the Return-to-Work program for workers’ compensation indemnity claims.
Contract to Hire
Salary: $80,000 - 88,000
Location: Austin, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8AM - 5PM
Responsibilities
Oversee assigned insurance programs (i.e. Workers’ Compensation, Property, Liability, Cyber, etc.) and ensure claims are properly investigated, reported, and closed.
Coordinate return-to-work interactive meetings with injured staff and provide divisions guidance regarding the safe return of injured employees back to work.
Analyze incidents to determine if the cause of loss may be covered by insurance and provide guidance to claim staff regarding the reporting claims or notices of circumstances.
Monitor all claims to ensure prompt determination of acceptance or denial, legal strategy, investigations, discovery, and any follow up required.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) related to insurance claims (i.e. closing ratios, average incurred losses, litigation rate, subrogation recoveries, etc.) and provide monthly reports to leadership.
Qualifications
3+ years of Insurance Claims experience
2 years of management experience
