Instrumentation and Control Engineer

We are working with an Engineering Consultancy who provide first class full service engineering and construction management across pulp and paper, chemical and heavy industrial industries.

They are hiring for a Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to be based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. You will be responsible for the documentation of the scope of work and be able to understand client expectations and ensure that they are met.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the documentation and scope of work
• Identifying what project scope is and ensuring client expectations and time frames are met by the team
• Tracking multiple projects and the costs of each project
• Managing client needs and issues and knowing how to accordingly respond to these
• Managing the trust of the clients and developing relationships with these
• Any changes to project scope you will be responsible for documenting these and communicating any changes

Experience and Skills:

• Previous background and experience with instrumentation and controls
• Previously worked on major capital projects
• From a background within engineering / project engineering
• PLC / DCS configuration experience
• PLC / DCS programming experience (not ideal but have nice to have)
• Previously overseen network design & system design
• Budget management experience
• Previous background in project implementation, control project costs
